In 2007, David Schramm built three guitars for the Guitar Foundation of America
Convention. This is one of those three. The soundboard is cedar and the lattice bracing is made from redwood.

This guitar has a very traditional look by the combination of cocobolo back and sides matched with a cedar soundboard. The bridge is padauk, the armrest is rosewood and head face plate is cocobolo.
You are a great player as well as maker. How does being a player affect you as a guitar maker? I think this answer may seem obvious but I'd like your take.
For my playing, your guitars are remarkably easy to play. The neck, frets and set up are just perfect. Did Gilbert influence this or did you arrive at this design due to your background as a player?
